The social model of health and illness suggests that social factors are more important than biological factors when it comes to defining and measuring health and illness.

Who’s Krause Sinking heart.
Focused on an illness that Hindus and Sikh believed they suffered from called sinking heart. which they believed was caused by public shame of some sort but this doesn’t exist in modern Britain. This was physical chest pain believed to be caused by emotional experiences most importantly, public shame of some sort. No such illness exists in other mainstream cultures in Britain.
