What is the concept of SLT?
A
- gender behaviour learnt from observing others
draws attention to influence of environment

what is direct reinforcement?
A
- kids more likely to have gender appropriate behaviour reinforced
- different behaviours encouraged between girls and boys is differential reinforcement
- reinforced behaviour is imitated

what is indirect/ vicarious reinforcement?
A
if the consequence of a persons behaviour is favourable, more likely to be imitated
- if the behaviour is punished, it won’t be imitated (like boys being punished for playing with dolls)
