obedience is a form of social influence in which a indivdual follows a dircet order.
what is conformity
matching the behaviour/beliefs of the majority
what does informational influence mean
is where agree with the opinion and or follow the behaviour of the majority because we dont know what to do

is the process of losing our own indeinty in a crowd
what does bystander effect mean
peoples seemingly reluctance to help someone in need because they belief someone else will help

Person who has control over someone else
What is compliance?
A type of conformity where you publicly agree with the majority put keep your true beliefs to yourself
What is identification?
A type of conformity where someone will publicly agree with the majority but only for as long as they are with the group.
What is internalisation?
Occurs when you are in a situation where you do not know how to behave- a ‘deeper’ form of conformity
What is normative social influence?
Compliance due to the need/ wanting to fit into a group
