- Can build long term relationships with suppliers and this may make the supplier offer better deals and pull out top quality service
- Firms need to ethically choose suppliers and not ones that exploit workers or pollute excessively

- The UK has an ageing population and this will have a direct affect on smith and Hadden as they specifically cater for the 30 something market and nothing older.
- This could prove a big issue in the future if they do not think about expanding their product portfolio

- Firms who treat their customers well can build up customer goodwill
- Good customer service can lead to customer Loyalty and repeat business
- Customers are more willing to complain when businesses don’t treat them well
- Bad word of mouth may also be an issue

- Keeping jobs secure in the area and using local suppliers
- Avoid noise pollution. Air pollution and excess traffic on the roads
- Business can earn goodwill but making charity donation or sponsoring schools etc
