1st: interact in socially supportive way
2nd: discuss a marital dispute
Lower hostility led to faster blister recovery
- fasted healing after socially supportive interaction compared to disagreement in same couples

Assessed the effects of availability of social support on the 2 year survival in recently diagnosed patients with AML
> 60% of patients with high levels of support were alive 2 years after being diagnosed
2 year survival rate was only 1.4% in patients with low social support
