A sytem of lines to find the location of any place on the surface of the earth. Can also be called a grid system with two sets of lines that cross each other.

Three quarters of the earth is covered in water. Size, shape, and rol it plays are just a few criteria to distinguish one body of water from another. The earths surface has many shapes and elevation
