Makes a flag to excite the animals about the rebellion. Feels official. Explains what it means also. However, using human things

Trying to make life better for the animals. Even though they don’t work at least he’s trying”

Snowball doesn’t object/is oblivious to to Napoleon’s rise of power - ultimately defeating him in the end

Snowball is a good and tactical leader. He acts quickly to make sure everyone is safe

Fights bravely to keep control of the farm - sacrificial. Shows he really cares

Inequality of 1st and 2nd class, could be considered clothes. Animals all probably agrees but most likely Snowball’s idea - greedy/selfish? Rewards animals for hard work

He is good at winning the animals over and connecting with them. Effective public speaker

Writes up the commandments, shows the care and loyalty to the farm

Innovative, wants to make life better for the animals

Simplifies the commandments so the animals understand, however is taken over by Napoleon through the sheep

Presents Snowball in a bad light. He probably knows it will hurt the animals but does so anyway. Only agrees with N whenever it benefits them both
Who does snowball represent?
Leon Trotsky. He opposed Stalin’s (Napoleon) decisions and was forced into exile
