Rapid Loss of Chamber Pressure (IL)

A
  1. Add gas to maintain and regain original depth (ALP-V-5)
  2. Shut IL slow and fast exhaust (slow EXH-V-5, fast EXH-V-6)
  3. Shut IL exhaust hull stop valve (EXH-V-7)
  4. Shut IL pressure relief hull stop valve (ATM-V-9)
  5. Divers check disconnect and listen for BIBS leaking
  6. Shut IL BIBS exhaust hull stop valve (EXH-V-2)
  7. Check depth (if depth gauges are leaking shut the depth gauge stop valves)
  8. Check door gaskets and pipe systems
  9. Check shut med lock pressurization hull stop

  1. Use ALP-V-13 to maintain depth
  2. Check shut fast exhaust (EXH-V-8)
  3. Shut OL exhaust hull stop valve (EXH-V-9)
  4. Shut OL BIBS exhaust hull stop valuable (EXH-V-4)
  5. Check shut OL door equalization stop valve (EQ-V-4)
  6. Instruct tender to check shut OL door equalization stop valve (EQ-V-5)
  7. Divers disconnect OL BIBS and listen for leaking

  1. Check shut/shut pressurization Control Valve (ALP-V-5)
  2. Open IL fast exhaust as necessary to maintain depth (EXH-V-5)
  3. Divers disconnect BIBS and listen for leaking
  4. Shut BIBS O2 hull stop valve (OLP-V-6)
  5. Shut BIBS air hull stop valve (ALP-V-11)
  6. Shut mix gas stop valve (MLP-V-4)

  2. Shut primary air shut off valve (ALP-V-3)
  3. Open secondary air shut off valve (ALP-V-9)
  4. Preform a hurricane vent as determined by the dive supervisor

  1. Shut BIBS O2 hull stop valve (OLP-V-6)
  2. Shut BIBS mix gas hull stop valve (MLP-V-4)
  3. Divers connect BIBS to air QD fitting and don BIBS
  4. Turn off ECS and CO2 Scrubber
  5. Divers extinguish the fire
  6. Stand by for hurricane vent as directed by the dive supervisor

Loss of Oxygen

A
  1. Diver removes BIBS mask from patient
  2. IT checks for proper QD connection
  3. Check O2 supply low pressure gauge for the proper range of 75-100 psi (OLP-G-1)
  4. Shut, in use, BIBS O2 supply valve (OLP-V-2 or OLP-V-4)
  5. Open, standby, BIBS O2 supply valve (OLP-V-2, OLP-V-4)
  6. Check O2 supply low pressure gauge for proper range of 75-100 psi (OLP-G-1)
  7. Resume O2 treatment as directed by diving supervisor
  8. Rack determine the cause of O2 loss

A
  1. Shut primary air shut off valve (ALP-V-3)
  2. Open secondary air shut off valve (ALP-V-9)
  3. Maintain depth with primary pressurization valve (ALP-V-5)
  4. Rack man investigate the cause

  3. Check Mixed- Gas Pressure gauge for proper range of 75-100 psi (MLP-G-1)
  4. Close Mixed-Gas supply valve (MLP-V-2)
  5. Rack Man identified cause of failure
