Describe pathway

A

starts at pinky finger. ascends up medial aspect of arm. Runs along posterior of upper arm. Zig zags from inferior fossa to superior fossa of scapula. Descends into supraclavicular fossa where it connects with heart. descends along esophagus and passes through the diaphragm to the stomach.

  • branch ascends from the neck to the supraclavicular fossa to cross neck and cheek and outer corner of eye.
  • another branch separates from previous branch on cheek and ascends to the infra-orbital region along the lateral aspect of the most to the inner corner where it meets with bladder channel
