Starting Engines

A
  1. Battery on - Check voltage (24.5-25v)
  2. Ext Power - Connect (29-30v)
  3. # 2 Engine Starter/IGN On
  4. Fuel Control Low Idle @ 12% N1, monitor ITT 1090deg max
  5. Starter off at 51% N1
  6. # 1 Engine Starter/IGN On
  7. Fuel Control Low Idle @ 12% N1, monitor ITT 1090deg max
  8. Starter off at 51% N1
  9. Disconnect EXT power
  10. Generators- On (right Gen first)
  11. Inverter 1 or 2
  12. Avnx master on
  13. Vent blower on low
  14. # 2 XPDR off
  15. nav setup, DIR 0M5, set INB CRS
  16. Props up @ taxi

ENG run-up

A
  1. @ 600 lbs TQ / 90% N1 hold test switch (auto feather off)
    -pull back #1 power lever to 400lbs, auto feather light should extinguish, continue to 200lbs, light should come on & off (bounce off limiter), return to 600lbs, then repeat on #2

*auto feather light will extinguish on opposite side throttle, prop will feather

  1. Cycle props to idle and ensure lights don’t extinguish

  7. Anything before 90, coming to a stop,
    after, taking it into the air (blue line)
  8. Positive Rate, Gear Up
  9. Lights/bells, cargo door closed for T/O

  7. Maintain airspeed above red line (shoot for 90 KIAS)
  8. Maintain heading with rudder
  9. 1-min, Green light
  10. Call MEM CTR jumpers away w/ 1st jumper and parrot on CTAF
