Danger area of the face
A
The upper lip and the lower part of the nose are called the danger area of the face.Infections from this area may spread into the cranial cavitycausing cavernous sinus thrombosis,meningitis,brain abscess.this is possible because of the venous communication between the facial vein and cavernous sinus through opthalmic vein.
