- Common premalignant skin lesion that develops as a consequence of chronic sun exposure
- May develop into : Squamous cell carcinoma

- Flat, red nodule
- Rough, scale like surface
- Pink-brown colour - typically sun exposed areas

- Ulcerate
- Tender and painful
Prognosis : Moderate spread between weeks to months

- Pearly flesh-coloured papule with telangiectasia
- Ulcerate leaving central crater

A
- Skin cancer originating from pigment producing melanocyte cells
- Fast spread - aggressive

- Flat/Nodular
- Pigmented lesion - variable colours within lesion
- Irregular border / Asymmetrical
- Ulcerate and bleed
- Evolution over time - alter in shape, colour, size over time

A
- Benign skin lesion originating from keratinocytes in the epidermis
- Common in older adults

Seborrheic Keratosis : Clinical features
A
- Appearance
* Elevated, wart like - stuck on lesions
* Well demarcated
* May be rough to touch
* No other symptoms - Location : More common on sun exposed areas
