Vesicle
elevated, superficial, filled with serous fluid, less than 1 cm in diameter
Bulla
vesicle greater than 1 cm in diameter
Pustule
elevated, superficial, similar to vesicle but filled with purulent fluid
Cyst
elevated, circumscribed, filled with liquid or semisolid material
Telangiectasia
fine, irregular, red lines produced by capillary dilation
Scale
heaped-up, irregular keratinizated cells
Lichenification
rough, thickened epidermis secondary to persistent rubbing
Keloid
irregular-shaped, elevated, progressively enlarging scar
