presentations

A

syphilis

primary phase: chancre(painless ulcer) at inoculation site
secondary phase (6-12weeks): generalised rash & lymphadenopathy
- maculopapular rash, condyloma lata, in palm and soles
latent phase: no symptoms
tertiary phase(years): bone lesion, gummatous skin lesions, thoracic aneurysm, neurosyphilis(dementia, neuropathy)
