Chronic Disorders
conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both
Infectious Disorders
disorders caused by organisms — such as bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites.
Skin Cancers
the uncontrolled growth of abnormal skin cells
Hives (Urticaria)
Red welts on skin surface, usually from allergic reaction. Also caused by stress, extreme hot or cold, or illness (Chronic Disorders)
Excezma
Chronic skin disorder that involves scaley and itchy rashes (Chronic Disorders)
Dandriff
caused by yest, white flaky inflammatory skin condition (Chronic DIsorders)
Psoraiasis
flaky silver white patches called scales, genetic, body produces too many new skin cells. (Chronic)
ALbanism
Body cannot produce melanin, (genetic, Chronic)
Impetigo
bacterial infection, highly contagious, causes blisters or sores on faces and hands, common among kids, (infectious)
Acne
caused by an overproduction of sebum and oil, clogging pores. (infectious)
Athletes Foot
fungal infection, itchy, cracking, pain (infectious)
Ringworm
not a wormn, caused by fungus. Itchy, red, raised, scaly PAtches
Necrotizing fasciitis
“Flesh Eating Disease”, very rare bacterial infection, death of the subctaneous layer os skin. (infectious)
MRSA
STaph infection, MRSA is resistant to antibiotics and very dangerous or deadly, most likely to get if in hospitals. (Infectious)
Non-Melanoma
includes basal cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma (Cancer)
