A
skin rashes or skin tumours in order to assist diagnosis, or remove skin malignancy/stop unwanted growth

A
as diagnostic aid, usually for skin lesions but use extending to hair problems/inflammatory skin disease

why is a dermoscope needed for some diagnosis
A
for recognition of morphologic structures not visible with naked eye

why can biopsy of a rash not always provide a diagnosis
A
one cause of a skin condition can have several histological patterns(eg drug eruption)
and different skin conditions can have the same histology(eg different eczemas)
