what are characteristics of basal cell carcinoma
A
slow growing
rarely metastasise
can be nodular - rolled edges, telangiectasia
can be pigmented
can be morphoeic - look like scars, poorly defined

excision

A
come from keratinising cells usually on sun exposed sites faster growing scaly/crusty can ulcerate

excision with 5mm margin
radiotherapy if needed

well differentiated nodule
grows rapidly
