1. Booked for 39 weeks if no complications
2. Epidural: injection to back to numb pain. You will be awake throughout.
3. Bikini line incision
4. Take baby out and stitch up

Risks:
Damage to bladder and bowel 7 in 1000.
Infection. - given abx before
Future pregnancy - scar rupture in labour,
Foetus: struggle to breath - need to go to special baby. Unit for support to breath. Transient. Scalp laceration.
