Things needed: Gloves, two washcloths, a towel, toilet paper, bedpan and towel for barrier (might need linen bag)
Key steps: locks on bed are locked, make sure bedpan is placed correctly and liquid and rinse of bed pan goes into TOILET, wash hands

Key steps: Hold catheter to make sure it doesn’t get pulled, check for flow(verbalize this step as well), clean with strokes away 3-4 inches, wash hands
