Answer:
Don’t attempt to move the body or alter scene to try and change it to its original state
Don’t touch anything
Establish what was moved
Make inquiries to establish what changes have been made to the scene and body so that the scene can be reconstructed and photographed if required.
What is listed in an appreciation before the removal of the body?
Answer:
Look at the best route for the removal of body (stepping plates)
Liaise with the coroner, notification and response by coroner
Consultation with other experts
Obtain views from pathologist, ESR, and crown solicitor
