Normally cube shaped and mostly spongy bone; wrist and ankle

Thin flattened bones, usually curved; Skull
Flat Bones
Bones that don’t fit into any category
Irregular Bones
The shaft of the bone

the connective fiber that protects the diaphysis

Remnant of the epiphyseal plate

Bone breaks into many fragments
Comminuted Fracture
Bone is crushed
Compression Fracture
Broken Bone is pressed inward
Depressed Fracture
Broken Bone ends are forced into each other
