Mountain Landscape
A
- Formed by tectonic plates converging
> Land is pushed up vertically, forming mountains, ridges, or ranges

A
- Anywhere with less than 250ml of rain
- There are hot and cold deserts
- Cover 1/3 of the Earth’s surface
- Lack of vegetation + largely uninhabitable

Coastal Landscape
A
- Where the land meets the sea
- Shaped by wind and waves (erosion/build-up)

Riverine Landscape
A
- A network of rivers and the surrounding land
- Formed by natural movement of a water system
- Rich in natural ecosystems + excellent for agriculture

Karst Landscape
A
- Form when easily dissolvable bedrock is worn away by slightly acidic water.
- water can be from a water source on land or water source under ground.

A
- Created by people
- Provide evidence of human settlement/occupation (buildings, roads, transport, etc.)
