Popular Sovereignty
Government created by the people consent(the people allow the government to exist)
Judicial Review
actions of the executive and legislative branches of government are subject to review and possible invalidation by the judiciary( or like they say the law unconstitutional)
Limited Government
The power of the government is restricted and limited by rule and stuff.
Checks and Balances
This system allow branches in the government to check each other to prevent one another from becoming to powerful(to keep it balance).
Separation of Powers
three separated branches( the judicial, executive and legislative) that equals. This to create check and balance and prevent one from becoming to powerful.
Federalism
he state government and the national government shared power with each other. National government responsible for rules affect everybody while state responsible for rules that affect its local area.
