Lancelot
was one of the Knights of the Round Table in the Arthurian legend. He was the most trusted of King Arthur’s knights and played a part in many of Arthur’s victories. Lancelot is best known for his love affair with Arthur’s wife Guinevere and the role he played in the search for the Holy Grail. He is also known as the most loyal friend of Arthur’s nephew, Sir Gawain.
