The belief to go west and civilise.

Nomadic, every person had a role.

Nations divided into Tribes, divided into Bands - each with a Chief, a Council and Warriors.

It was their survival - every part used.

“Counting Coup” which was bloodless but would scalp to prevent enemies from going to the afterlife (Happy Hunting Ground).

Only ever fight if survival threatened - also wouldn’t fight if futile.

All land west of the Missouri River would become the “Great Reservation” - supposed to be Native land forever.
