A
Absolute
- unstable fractures
- manifestations of neurological symptoms brought on by treatment positioning
- exacerbation of potentially life-threatening symptomatology
Relative
- treatment cant be tolerated well
- comorbidities that place the patient at risk for fracture (osteoporosis/malignancy)
- moderate-severe to join instability
- spinal stenosis/nerve root impingement where positioning could exacerbate the condition
