A small sword Sikhs carry with them at all times. It should only be used as a last resort, and never used in anger. It is legal for Sikhs to carry the Kirpan with them, even at school

The Guru Granth Sahib
What are the 5 Ks?
The five artefacts of faith worn by all baptised Sikhs. The commitment started in 1699 at the Vaiskhi Gathering. They represent the wearer’s love for God
What is the smaller version of the Guru Granth Sahib called, and what is in it?
The Gutkas. It contains the most important prayers, writings and hymns.

What is kara?
It is a bracelet Sikhs wear around their right hand. They are steel, because not everyone can afford silver or gold and so making them silver means everyone is equal. It reminds Sikhs that God is watching them, and may once have been used to protect Sikhs from the Kirpan
