Kesh - Never cut your hair, it is a gift from God. Kachera - undershorts which represent modesty. Kangha - Small comb to keep hair neat. Kara - a bracelet worn on your wrist which has no beginning or end, signifies god who has no start or end. Kirpan - a small sword, never used to attack people, used to bless food
What is taking Amrit
It is a special ceremony where special sugar water blessed in the presence of the Guru Granth Sahib and 5 Khalsa Sikhs is poured on your head. This is to become a Khalsa Sikh

A holy text which contains all the teachings of the 10 Gurus, it is treated like a human guru. Contains Shabads

When you read the entire Guru Granth Sahib, takes 2 days and 2 nights, happens around once a year
