What is Sangat?
The community of Sikhs. Those who are in the presence of the Guru Granth Sahib.
What did Guru Nanak believe about Sangat?
Guru Nanak believed being part of a community brings people closer to Waheguru
What is the importance of Sangat?
- Develop spirituality
- Brings Sikhs together as a community
- Helps Sikhs learn about their religious history
- Provides opportunities for Sewa
What do Sikhs believe about the nature of God? (8points)

Why might Sikhs do pilgrimage? (5 points)

Why might Sikhs NOT do Pilgrimage

What is sewa?
Selfless service; form of worship by helping others or charity.
How might Sikhs worship at home?
- With a small booklet of verses from the GGS (Gutka)
- By saying daily prayers (Nitmen prayers)
