- Worsens acute HF (helps chronic HF)

- Hypotension
- Bradycardia
- Peripheral oedema

- AKI
- Sub-class dependent effects e.g. spironolactone causes gynaecomastia

- N+V+D
- Blurred vision
- Confusion and drowsiness
- Xanthopsia - disturbed yellow/green visual perception including halo vision

- Interstitial lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis)
- Thyroid disease
- Skin greying
- Corneal deposits

- Early: tremor
- Intermediate: tiredness
- Late: arrhythmias, seizures, coma, renal failure, diabetes insipidus
What are the side effects of haloperidol?
Dyskinesias e.g. acute dystonic reactions, drowsiness

- Myalgia
- Abdominal pain
- Increased ALT/AST

- Antidote is naloxone IM 400 micrograms every 2-3 mins
