Q

Šema CZ

A

Miluj Hašem svého B-Ha celým svým srdcem, celou svou duší, a celou svou silou.

22
Q

What about is all prayer, all Torah learning, and all character refinement and development about ?

A

In everything we do, our intention is to raise up the sparks of holiness.

23
Q

Why we daily recite the passage of the OLAS TAMID ( perpetual elevation - offering - Kotbanos) ?

A

OLAT (offerings עולת) = TOLA (worm תולת)

According to the ARI, each morning the spiritual equivalrnt if worm, representing the forces of evil, attempts to devour and destroy everything - the entire world. Therefore, we recite the passage of the OLAS TAMID which has the power to counter this impure “worm”. This daily offering represents loving-kindness, the exact opposite of evil.

24
Q

Meaning of reciting KETORES daily ?

A

KeToRes has same root as KaTaR (bind). Zohar speaks of the K. as binding all the worlds together, for it begins with the lowest levels of this world and ascends all the way up to G-D himself. 11 spices kf K. corresponds to the holy lights (sefiros) that are trapped in and give life to the kelipos. We recite the K.passage to free these lights from their entrapment and to elevate them. Per Zohar, the one reciting the K.passage daily will be protectwd from evil and suffer no harm. Zohar II, 218b.

25

26
