What was Siddharthas childhood like?
His childhood was full of luxury due to his father
How was Siddhartha as a person?
He was loving and compassionate as he saved and helped a swan recover after it was shot.
Why didn’t Siddharthas father the king want him to leave
Because a wise man told the king that if Siddhartha sees suffering he will become a wise man.
What was the first sight?
It was an old man which made Siddhartha realise that he won’t be young and strong forever.
What was the second sight?
Illness, this made Siddhartha realise that the people who he loves will become sick
What was the third sight?
Death, Siddhartha sees a death man and causes him to realise that he won’t live forever and that his life will end one day.
What was the final sight?
A holy man, Siddhartha sees a holy man praying in peace and tranquility.
Why does Siddhartha become a holy man?
He sees all the suffering in the world and decides that he wants to be a holy man so he can figure out how to stop all the suffering.
