Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine coolant level and tell me how you would check the engine has the correct level.
- identify engine coolant tank
- check min. & max. level indicator (displayed on the side of the tank)
- if coolant is below the min. mark, more water needs to be added (do this by unscrewing the tank cap when the engine is cold)
Open the car bonnet, identify where the brake fluid reservoir tank is and tell me how you would check that you have a safe level of hydraulic brake fluid.

HOW TO CHECK:
- gentle pressure on the steering wheel should result in slight movement as the system begins to operate

- turning the steering wheel just after moving off
