Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine oil level and tell me how you would check the engine has enough oil
Pull dipstick out, get a cloth wipe all the oil off, put It back in, oiley mark will be in between Min and max
How would you check the engine coolant level and tell me how you would check it has the correct level
Drivers side far left, and max and Min is by the side of tank.
Open the bonnet, identify where the break fluid reservoir is and tell me how you would heck you have a safe level of hydraulic break fluid
Identified with a circle at top in between brackets
Check down side should be in between Min and max level
Show me how you would check the Break lights are working
Turn on ignition, press break, ask examiner to look at back to make sure it’s working
Show me how you check the power assisted steering is working before starting a journey
Turn engine on. Steer left and right should feel easy
Show me how you would clean the windscreen using the windscreen washer and wipers
Turn ignition on, press button

Press hazard lights. Get out check front ones are flashing and back ones

Turn fan on max setting. Direct air so it blows front windscreen. Turn temp up

Press the horn

Use them if you can’t see further Than 100m, turn ignition on, turn dipped headlights on, pressing rear fog light button
Show me how you can check the handbreak for wear
Press footbreak, realease hand break, re apply it back up, it shouldn’t come up too highs
Show me you how you would switch your headlights from dipped to main beam
Turn ignition on. Turn Main beam lights on. Blue light, pull left leaver towards you
