When is it NOT SAFE to show the examiner something?
When the action will confuse others or cause other road users to adjust their speed.
When I need to be paying close attention to the road ahead i.e. sharp bend, horses, bikes, close traffic, roundabout etc.
You’ll fail your driving test if your driving is dangerous or potentially dangerous while you answer the ‘show me’ question
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you wash and clean the rear windscreen?
Right stick by wheel, twist far end of it once then release (it snaps back by itself).

Pull right stick once (towards me)

Twist left stick/lever to dipped headlights symbol, twice away from my knees.

Demister button on dashboard, on, then press again to switch off.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d operate the horn?
Apply pressure to horn on wheel, remember it is located just below the centre logo.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d demist the front windscreen?
Twist the demister knob on the dashboard, all dials to the right.
When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d open and close the side window?

Not asked to do this, but I should definitely know in case it starts raining! How do you turn on the front window wipers?
Push the right stick/lever down: once for interval swipe, twice for slow, thrice for fast. Pushing it upwards does a single swipe.

Twist the far end knob of the right stick once upwards, away from me.
