Upper trapezius
O: external occipital protuberance, superior nuchal line, spinous processes of cervical vertebrae via nuchal ligament
I: lateral third of clavicle, acromion process
A: scapular elevation, upward rotation, retraction
Bilateral: capital and cervical extension and lateral flexion when scapula is stabilized.
Unilateral: and cervical extension and lateral flexion to same side, when scapula is stabilized.
N: spinal accessory, C3 and C4 sensory component
Upper trapezius
O: spinous processes of C7 through T3 via Supraspinal ligament
I: medial aspect of acromion and spine of scapula
Middle trapezius
A: scapular, retraction, upward, rotation, minimal
N: spinal accessory, C3 and C4 sensory component

O: spinous processes of T4 through T12 via super spinal ligament
I: base of spine of the scapula
A: scapular, depression, upward, rotation, retraction
N: spinal accessory, C3 and C4 sensory component

Levator scapula
O: transverse processes, C1 through C4
I: vertebral border of scapula between superior angle and spine of scapula
A: scapular, elevation, downward rotation, lateral flexion of cervical spine to same side when scapula stabilized
N: third and fourth cervical nerves and dorsal scapular nerve C5

O: spinous processes of C7 through T5, via nuchal and supraspinal ligaments
I: vertebral border of scapula between base of spine and scapula and inferior angle
A: scapular, retraction, elevation, downward rotation
N: dorsal, scapular nerve C5

O: lateral surface of first through eighth ribs
I: vertebral border of the scapula, anterior surface
A: scapular, protraction, upward, rotation, elevation of thoracic occasion, shoulder girl is stabilized, accessory muscle of ventilation inspiration
N: long thoracic nerve, C5, C6, seven
Serratus anterior
O: anterior surface, third through fifth ribs
I: cricoid process of the scapula
Pectoralis major
A: scapular, depression, protraction, downward, rotation, tilt, elevation of thoracic cage, and shoulder girdle, stabilized, accessory muscle ventilation, inspiration
N: medial pectoral, nerve C8 t1

O: lateral third of the clavicle
I: deltoid tuberosity
A: shoulder, abduction, flexion, medial rotation, and horizontal adduction, depression of the shoulder girdle and humerus is stabilized
N: auxiliary nerves, C5, C6

O: acromion process
I: deltoid tuberosity
A: shoulder, abduction, depression of the shoulder girdle, when humorous is stabilized
N: axillary nerve

A: shoulder, abduction, extension, lateral rotation, horizontal, abduction, depression, the shoulder girdle, when humorous is stabilized

O: medial, third of clavicle, sternum, costal cartilage of first six ribs
I: lateral, lipid bicipital groove of humorous inferior to the sternal portion
A: shoulder flexion, medial, rotation, adduction, horizontal adduction
N: lateral and medial pectoral nerves

O: via the Thora Columbus fascia, the spinous passive of T7 through L5, posterior surface of iliac crust and sacrum, lower three ribs
