6
Q

Describe the Hammock principle by Ann Cools.

A

It is about the laxity in the anterior part of the capsule and the stiffness in the posterior part. This leads to a disbalance.

Q

Describe the parachute analogy by Ann Cools.

A

–> often seen in throwers
Due to weakened RC muscles which should slow down the movement of the arm after throwing, the capsula has to slow the movement down instead and gets micro-tears (gets damaged)
Strenghtening of the back muscles and stretching is necessary.
