THEME
The point the writter makes about life or people
ALLUSION
A referance to something well known from the past
IRONY
Something that seems on way, but in realtiy it is different.
3 TYPES OF IRONY
1) Dramatic irony- a truth the reader knows but the character does not.
2) verbal irony- statement that says the opposite that is meant
3) situational irony- situation that oocurs that neither the reader or character expects.
POV
The vantage point from which the story is told
5 POV
1) First person narrator; i, we
2) second person narrator; you, your
3) Third person omniscient narrator;enters any mind
4) Third person limited narrator; one persons mind
5) third person objective narrator; cant enter anyones mind
