what exactly are the elements that all short stories are made up of?
Setting, Plot, Characters, Conflict and Theme
What is exposition?
Exposed to characters, setting, initial conflict.
What is Climax?
Tension and plot of the story.
What is falling action?
After the main event of the story. Part of the story where everything begins to resolve.
What is denouement?
The ending of the story. This is when they provide details and information to completes the story.
What is rising action?
The events leading up to the climax of the story. Story builds based on the decisions made by the characters.
What is Omniscient?
When the story is told by an all knowing narrator who supplies more information about all the characters and events than any one character could know.
What is an antagonist?
The person who opposes the main character .
What is First person?
When the story is being told through the voice of one specific character.
What is Third person?
When the story is being seen through the eyes of one particular character.
