I. “It’s like the waves at the beach, slowly the waves roll in, slowly they fall, slowly they withdraw again.

II. No-one makes them come, no-one makes them fall, no-one makes them withdraw again; it just happens.

III. Just this easily, we think the Ascension Attitude; then we wait and watch the mind move.

IV. Again we think the Ascension Attitude, then again we wait.

V. Just this easily and naturally, back and forth, no trying, no controlling, with perfect innocence.”

“We’ll Ascend three times, about 5 minutes or so each time. Now let’s close the eyes and begin.”

II. Very good! This is Ascension. It’s so simple and natural. We never force the mind. We just think the Ascension Attitude easily, then if it fades away, that’s OK. If other thoughts come, that’s OK.

III. Whatever happens naturally is OK. We never try to do it.
