A
Low cardiac output, anaemia (due to blood loss), hyperaemia

Classifications of hypoxia?
A
HASH Hypoxic - lack of O2 supply Anaemic - abnormal Hb function Stagnant - decreased circulation Histotoxic - impaired cellilar O2 metabolism

A patient presents with a low CO and high SVR. What type of shock might they be in?
A
Cardiogenic. Poor contraction of myocardium –> low CO –> sympathetic stimulation –> increased SVR
