What does COMPTUEX stand for?
Composite Training Unit Exercise
Integrated Phase
Synthesize individual units and staffs into an team to simulate multi-dimensional threats in a realistic warfare environment
Opportunity for decision makers to conduct multi-unit inport and at-sea training
Upon completion, the unit is certified to deploy
Advanced Phase
Applies to independent deploying Navy forces that are not part of a CSG or ARG
Specific training to meet Comb. CDR mission requirements
Upon completion forces will be certified to deploy
Sustainment Phase
Begins after the integrated or advanced phase and ends with the start of the next maintenance phase
Ships can be deployed during this phase
