General Arrangement Plan
Vessel’s main dimensions; frame spacing; side and front view; layouts of decks, cabins and all major equipments.
Safety Plan
An arrangement plan for each deck showing the location of all lifesaving and firefighting equipment using colour symbols to represent various equipment; shows location of muster stations.
Fire control Plan
An arrangment plan for each deck showing the location, identification and number of: control stations, fire detectors, manual call points, fire detection systems, fire alarm bells, fixed fire fighting systems, portable fire extinguishing appliances, means of access to compartments, decks, etc, including escape routes; ventilation system,dampers and control stations; emergency escape breathing devices(EEBD’S), fire pumps, fire main, hydrants, hoses and nozzles; remote stops of fuel oil tanks, location of fire control plans.
Docking Plan
Shows recommended position of keel blocks and bilge blocks when going for dry dock, locations of bottom plugs for tank drain and position of any external projections from the hull e.g. echo-sounder, stabilizers.
Capacity Plan
A plan of the vessel with location and identification of spaces and tanks. Contains information about , volumes, equipment weight, center of gravity; tank loading criteria for all tanks; deadweight scale and tank testing pressures.
Shell expansion Plan
A drawing showing the shell expansion including load and ballast water lines and the extent of the flat part of bottom.
Damage Control Plan
Intended to provide information on the ship’s watertight subdivision and equipment related to maintaining the boundaries. Includes plan views of each deck and transverse sections, watertight boundaries of the ship; locations of all internal w/t closing appliances, shell doors, and all bilge and ballast pumps.
Midship section drawing
A drawing of the midship transverse section providing information of geometric dimensions, scantlings and material type.
Bridge design drawing
An arrangement plan for the bridge showing the location of all equipment.
Piping diagram
A pipeline drawings for various pipelines on board which should include outside diameters and wall thicknesses of pipes, materials used in pipes, valve bodies and fittings, pump type and capacity, type of valves and fittings, design pressure if exceeding 7 bar, and design temperature if exceeding 60°C, hydrostatic test pressure after installation on board.
Lifesaving arrangement plan
Detailed drawing(s) showing the arrangement of survival- and rescue craft stowage, boarding, release and launching.
