Characters who are in the story a lot and the reader gets to know a lot about what he/she feels and thinks.
Round characters
Genre in which characters and events come from the author’s imagination but are realistic and could happen in real life
Realistic fiction
Characters that are not in the story much so the reader does not get to know him/her very well.
Flat characters
Perspective from which the story is told
Point of view
Story is told by one of the characters (“I”)
1st person
Story is told to the reader (“you”)
2nd person
Story is told by someone outside of the book (narrator-“he/she”)
3rd person
Major idea the author is trying to get across

Disagreement within the story
