What is a bridge?
The part of a song that has different lyrics, melody, or chords from the rest of the song

What is this and how long does it last for?
Semibreve rest. 4 beats.
What is the difference between a semibreve rest and a minim rest?
Minim rest is on top of the line, semibreve rest is on the bottom of the line.
What is this and how long does it last for?
Minim rest. 2 beats.

Minim. 2 beats.
What is this and what does it mean?
Repeat sign. It means you go back to the start of the repeat sign and replay the section when you get to a double bar line.
What is this and what does it mean?
Double bar line. When you reach the double bar line you go back to the repeat line and replay that section.
What is this and what does it mean?
Tie. It means you play the two notes as a single note equal to the sum of both note’s value. (In the picture, a crochet is worth one beat, so you would play it as one note worth 2 beats, like a minim)

The story telling part of the song, every verse is different
