Know your Clients Scalp
To have a healthy and glowing hair you you should have a healthy scalp.
For Normal Scalp
Your scalp has the right amount of oil from the sebaceous glands, it is free from dandruff, excessive dryness, or oil deposition. A shampoo with a evenly balanced formulation of detergents and conditioning agents will help maintain it.
For Oily Scalp
If your scalp feels to oily/greasy you keep 1-2 day gaps in between each wash. Shampoos that say volumising, strengthening, or balancing are best to deal with excess oil.
Ditch the conditioner.
Avoid moisturizing, hydrating or curly/frizzy hair shampoo.
Too much washing may lead to dryness that in turn can stimulate your scalp to secrete more oil.

What does Clarifying Shampoo do?
Clarifying is the strongest shampoo and is good for a once in a while deep clean. Using to often can lead to dryness or irritation.
For Dry Scalp
Choose gentle formulations that promote moisturization and hydration to keep your scalp hydrated.
Avoid sulfate, volumizing, fortifying, or strengthening shampoos.
For Curly Hair
Curly hair tends to be on the drier side and get tangled easily, deeply hydrating/moisturizing shampoos with ingredients to sooth frizz are ideal.
Try cleansing conditioners for cleansing and offer a high moisturizing level.

Mostly to help restore protein(keratin). Deep penetrating and are usually left on for 5 to 20 minutes, sometimes require heat.
What is Leaving In Conditioner?
Are applied to towel dried hair and not rinsed out.
What are Benefits of Brushing your Hair?
Brushing the hair stimulates blood circulation to the scalp, helps remove dirt, dust, product buildup and gives added shine for scalp oils to the mid shaft and ends.
Do NOT brush the hair or give an aggressive shampoo before a before a chemical service. Never brush hair if the scalp is irritated.
