Q

Augustin

A

Sex in order to porcreate, married couple should ‘descend with a sense of sadness’ to their ‘regrettable task.’

Man who has sex with his wife without the intension of procreation is effectively committing adultery.

To seek pleasure is a sin, to experience it is sinless.

Sex = necessary evil to continue the human race

Sexual desires are a constant restraint of men’s rebellion against God - our original sin

Cannot control our sexual desires
