What does the presence of SRY protein cause?
A
- Testes secrete testosterone = Wolffian duct (forms vas defernes)
Leydig cells secrete testosterone, this causes wolffian duct to develop, Testosterone converts to DHT in penis, scrotum and prostate causing development - Sertoli cells secrete Müllerian-inhibiting substance = degeneration of müllerian tube

What does the absence of SRY protein cause?

- Testosterone absence results in degeneration wolffian duct
- Müllerian duct forms the uterine duct, it fuses forming the uterus
