Statute of limitations for Sexual Assault
As long as the incident has been reported to law enforcement within 20 years, there is no limit on when the crime can be prosecuted.
Sexual Assault NRS

1) Any person is guilty of sexual assault if he/ she;
a) subjects another to sexual penetration, or forces another to make a sexual penetration on himself or herself or another or a beast against the will of the victim or under conditions in which the perpetrator should know or knows the victim is mentally or physically incapable of resisting or understanding the nature of their conduct.
b) Commits a sexual penetration upon a child under the age of 14 years or causes the child to make a sexual penetration on himself, another or a beast.

1) Felony if suspect is 21 or over and victim is under 16
2) GM of suspect is 18-20 and victim is under 16

1) Done at UMC for victims 16 years and older
SCAN - Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect
1) Done at Sunrise Hospital (pediatrics ER) for victims 15 and younger.

2) Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law
3) You have the right to consult with and attorney before questioning

5) if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed before questioning
