1- Migraines with aura
2- heavy smoking ( 15+ cigs )and over 35 years old
3- Breast feeding ( less than 6 weeks post delivery )
4- Uncontrolled hypertension ( > 160/100 )
5- history of VTE, cardio, cerbrovascular disease , current breast cancer
How long are progesterone pills taken
Taken continuously , no break
Side effects of progesterone
1- irregular bleeding / spotting
